The itineraries on this page are useful because they show what is possible. They are not fixed packages. We can change the camp, add a beach stay, slow the route down, include another country or begin again with a completely different idea.

The most helpful thing you can tell us is what would make the trip feel special to you. Wildlife is usually part of the answer, but so are privacy, culture, beautiful landscapes, food, photography, family time and the amount of adventure you want each day.

Small changes can make a big difference

Where you stay in a park, whether you drive or fly, and how long you spend in each place can change the experience as much as the lodge itself. A beautiful camp in the wrong location for your month is not a good recommendation.

We look at the whole route. Sometimes a private vehicle is worth the extra cost because it gives a family or keen photographer complete flexibility. Sometimes a short flight saves most of a day. Elsewhere, driving is part of the adventure and helps keep the price sensible.

How the planning process works

First, we listen. Then we shortlist the routes and camps that genuinely fit, explain why we have chosen them and refine the details with you. When the itinerary feels right, we can place a short hold on the preferred camps while you talk everything through.

You will have a dedicated specialist throughout the process, plus support with internal flights, transfers and the practical details that make the journey run smoothly.

What does tailor-made safari mean?

It means the route is shaped around you rather than sold as a fixed departure. We adjust the destinations, camps, length, pace, activities and transport around your priorities and budget.

Can you change one of the example itineraries?

Yes. Every example is a starting point. We can change the camp level, add or remove destinations, alter the pace, include a beach stay or begin with a blank sheet of paper.

When should I start planning?

Earlier is helpful for peak travel months and small camps, but there is no single deadline. Share your dates when you have them and we will explain what availability means for the route.

Do you arrange internal flights and transfers?

Yes. The safari route includes the internal flights, road transfers and airport connections needed to make the journey work on the ground.

Do I need to know my exact budget before enquiring?

No. A range is enough to begin. It helps us recommend the right countries, camp level and trip length without presenting options that do not fit.
