This is the exact route shown on the original trip page, presented as a clear starting point. We can change the camps, pace and season around your dates, priorities and budget.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge to settle in after your flights. We can also connect US guests with a dedicated flight partner to help arrange international flights.
OvernightKatambuga House (1 night)

After breakfast, begin the roughly three-hour drive to Tarangire. Enter the park for a game drive and picnic lunch before settling into camp. The following day is devoted to game drives among Tarangire's baobabs, elephants and seasonal wildlife concentrations.
OvernightOliver's Camp (2 nights)

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch, then continue into the Ngorongoro Highlands. The next day, descend to the crater floor for up to six hours of wildlife viewing before returning to the highlands.
OvernightAcacia Farm Lodge (2 nights)

Transfer to the airstrip and fly into the northern Serengeti. Settle into camp, then spend the afternoon on safari. Two further days are reserved for shared morning and afternoon game drives across this world-renowned wildlife area.
OvernightLemala Kuria Hills (3 nights)

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a light-aircraft flight to Kilimanjaro, where the safari services end. Connect here with onward flight arrangements booked for after 2pm.
The journey starts in Arusha, travels by road through Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Highlands, then continues by light aircraft to the northern Serengeti before flying back to Kilimanjaro.
Each numbered stop follows the itinerary in order. The final Serengeti sectors are reached by light aircraft, so the map shows the places you visit rather than a continuous driving route.
Four carefully selected bases place you close to each landscape and wildlife area. Browse verified first-party photos from each property below, then tell us which details matter most to you.

A quiet first-night base near Arusha where you can recover from the international journey before setting out on safari.

An established tented camp in Tarangire, ideally placed for the park's elephant herds, baobab landscapes and excellent guiding.

A comfortable highlands lodge in Karatu, well placed for Lake Manyara and an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

A luxury lodge in the Wogakuria Hills, giving the trip an exceptional final base for northern Serengeti game drives.
