Your questions answered

How much does The Great Wildebeest Migration safari cost?

The seven-day itinerary starts from $9,275 per person based on two people travelling together during the July to October high season. Travel outside this period generally costs less, and final pricing depends on dates and availability.

Does this trip guarantee a river crossing?

No wildlife event can be guaranteed. July to October gives the best chance of seeing the herds and a Mara River crossing in the northern Serengeti, but timing and location change each year.

How much time is spent in the Serengeti?

The itinerary includes three nights at Lemala Mara, with an arrival game drive followed by two full days of shared morning and afternoon game drives.

Is the Ngorongoro Crater included?

Yes. Day three includes a descent to the crater floor for a game drive and picnic lunch before returning to camp in the highlands.

Can the route be adapted outside July to October?

Yes. This is a tailor-made starting point. For other months, your specialist can move the Serengeti camp to a more suitable sector and adjust the route around the migration and resident wildlife.

Talk to someone who's actually been there

Migration safaris depend on matching the Serengeti sector to the month rather than chasing a fixed promise. Our Tanzania specialists will shape the camp location, flights and guiding around your dates and wildlife priorities.
