Introducing, Entamanu Ngorongoro
Entamanu might lay claim to the world's longest driveway at a staggering 9km. The lodge is blissfully secluded, and it's the only place in the world where you can see the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti simultaneously.
In their determination to do things differently, they've discovered just how much adventure lies outside the Crater bowl. With all it has to offer, Entamanu's a destination in its own right, and if you ask us, between October and May when all is lush, green and Eden-like, no one should spend less than 3 nights here.
Why forays on foot are what it's all about
From gentle meanders to whole-day hikes, Entamnu has walks for days. Miles of rolling highlands extend behind and beyond camp, and ancient Maasai cattle trails carve deep gullies through acacia forests.
Take an epic amble along the edge of one of the wonders the world; spot game from above, and see through the eyes of your Maasai guide (whose backyard this is!). Better yet, drop in on a Maasai boma for a warm welcome into another way of life.
Entamanu offer a range of different walking routes, including: Crater Viewpoint Walk, Maasai Boma Walk, Crater Rim Walk, Serengeti Walk, Lemakarot Mountain Hike.
