Rooms & Amenities
Acacia Farm Lodge consists of 23 rooms in 16 spaced out cottages. Each luxury suite has its own private balcony or terrace with stunning views.
The lodge offers both double suites and single suites with a lovely view of the coffee or vegetable farm. Both are fitted with air conditioning, a mini-bar, TV, WiFi, and a cosy private balcony to relax on at the end of the day.
Guests also have the option of a single room within an interconnected cottage to stay close to friends or family also residing in the Lodge.
There is also a relaxing swimming pool and gym open to you at Acacia Farm Lodge, a perfect way to start your day before embarking on a safari excursion.
Activities at Acacia Farm Lodge
Acacia Farm Lodge offers an incredible selection of bespoke activities tailored to suit everybody and are complimentary from the lodge, meaning they can be experienced at no extra charge. Below are just a couple of our favourites.
- A friendly and knowledgeable guide will meet and accompany you on a peaceful nature walk and farm tour. Visit the coffee farm and vegetable garden whilst spotting colourful species of birds, exotic trees and shrubs.
- The lodge is surrounded by incredible biking terrain and breathtaking scenery. Long pathways spread throughout 25 acres - perfect for hiring a bike and cruising about at your own leisure.
Extra excursions that can be organised include massages, hiking to the Endoro Elephant Caves, a cultural tribe tour, and a bush lunch.
When to Visit
Karatu is pleasant all year round with minimal rainfall, especially between March and December.
However, December, August, and March are the busiest tourist months.
