Day 1-2: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Arrival at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner who can help find and book the best international flights for you. 

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, settling in after your flight. 

Overnight: Karibu Entebbe (1 night)

Day 2-6: Lake Mutanda & Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport and board a light aircraft flight to Kihihi, the gateway to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You'll be met on arrival and transferred to your lodge.

This afternoon you will embark on a 2 hour canoe ride on Lake Mutanda. 

Overnight: Mutanda Lake Resort (4 nights) 

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla Trekking! Today you start early with a short briefing at the park HQ where you meet your guides and trackers. You'll then set off, deep into the forest in search of your allocated gorilla family. You spend 1 magical hour with them before returning to your lodge. 

Day 4: Lake Mutanda

Today you will have a day at leisure to relax at Mutanda Lake Resort. 

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Second gorilla trek! Today you retrace your steps to the park HQ where you are allocated a different gorilla family to visit, and set off into the forest for another magnificent wildlife experience. You'll spend 1 hour with the gorillas, watching their behaviours and social interactions before returning to your lodge for the afternoon. 

Day 6-7: Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip and board the return light aircraft flight back to Entebbe. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or add in a trip to visit the Mabamba Swamp. 

Overnight: Karibu Entebbe (1 night)

Day 7-8: Fly to Tanzania

Own flight arrangements to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner who can help find and book the best international flights for you. 

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge, settling in after your flights. 

Overnight: Arumeru River Lodge (1 night)

Day 8-10: Lake Manyara National Park & Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll depart for the Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing. Late afternoon, you'll drive up the escarpment and to your lodge in the Karatu Highlands. 

Overnight: Bashay Rift Lodge (2 nights)

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you have an exciting game drive to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, taking picnic lunches with you. You'll return to the crater rim in the afternoon and back to your lodge. 

Day 10-13: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip and board a light aircraft flight to the northern Serengeti plains and to your camp. Settle in for lunch before heading out on a game drive this afternoon. 

Overnight: Grumeti Hills (3 nights)

Day 11-12: Serengeti National Park

Spend two days enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in this world-renowned wildlife area. Your stay here will include a walking safari and night game drive. 

Day 13: Return Home

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip, bidding farewell to your guides. Board a light aircraft flight to Arusha, where you'll be taken for lunch at a local lodge. You'll then be transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight arrangements (please do not book a departure prior to 5pm). We hope you will be leaving Africa with some incredible memories and photos of your time here.
