With each metre, more of the plains come into view, and you begin to appreciate the sheer scale of it all. Looking down, a herd of Zebra and Wildebeest continue their journey northward, providing pockets of colour on the otherwise golden - seemingly endless - savannah.
Hot Air Balloon Safaris in Tanzania
A hot air balloon safari is a remarkable way to experience the wilderness of the Serengeti National Park. The balloon safaris run from select camps across the Serengeti, and take place in the early morning (replacing a morning game drive).
The balloon safaris operate in different parts of the Serengeti at different times of year. In Central Serengeti, the balloon safaris operate year-round, whilst in the north, south (Ndutu), and west, they operate seasonally.
