Itinerary

Day 1-3: Arrival at Kigali, City Tour, Transfer to Virunga Mountains
Arrival at Kigali, Rwanda (morning arrival). Note: We have a dedicated flight partner who can help you find and book the best international flights for you.
On arrival, you will be met and taken for a short excursion around the city. You'll be taken for lunch, before being transferred to the Virunga Mountains and to your lodge. Settle in before dinner.
Overnight: Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel (2 nights)
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park, Gorilla Trekking
Today you have a thrilling wildlife experience. You'll start early with breakfast and a short briefing at the park HQ, before setting off into the forest in search of your allocated gorilla family for your Gorilla Trekking. Spend 1 magical hour with them, before heading back to your lodge for lunch. You'll visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund this afternoon, returning to your lodge for dinner.
Day 3-4: Back to Kigali and onwards to Nairobi
After breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Kigali and to the airport. Connect here to your onward flight to Nairobi (not included). On arrival at Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, relaxing after your travel day.
Overnight: Tamarind Tree Hotel ( 1 night)
Day 4-6: Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the domestic airport (Wilson) in time for a light aircraft flight to Samburu. You'll be collected on arrival and driven to your camp, settling in before lunch. Your afternoon will be spent on a game drive, returning to camp for dinner.
Overnight: Elephant Bedroom Camp (2 nights)
Day 5: Samburu National Reserve
Spend today enjoying shared morning and afternoon game drives in the Samburu National Reserve.
Day 6-8: Lewa Conservancy
After breakfast, you'll depart for the Lewa Conservancy in Laikipia, a drive of around 2 hours. Arrive at your next camp with some time to relax before lunch. You'll then head out on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy. Dinner is back in camp.
Overnight: Lewa Safari Camp (2 nights)
Day 7: Lewa Conservancy
Today you'll enjoy shared morning and afternoon game drives in Lewa.
Day 8-11: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the nearby airstrip and board a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. You'll be taken to your camp, settling in for lunch. You'll then head out on an afternoon game drive, returning to camp for dinner.
Overnight: Entim Mara Camp (3 nights)
Day 9-10: Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend two days enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara National Reserve, in search of the wildebeest migration herds and crossings.
Day 11: Return Home
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip, enjoying a final game drive en route. Board a light aircraft flight to Nairobi, Wilson. You'll be taken for lunch at the famed Carnivore Restaurant before being transferred to the international airport for your onward flight arrangements. We hope you will be leaving Africa with some incredible memories and photos of your time here.
