Danielle and Joseph started their honeymoon dreams with visions of Zanzibar or the Seychelles, but as they learned more they couldn't resist the draw of safari on the mainland. As they put it: "we loved the idea of a trip to Africa initially for the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar or the Seychelles, but once we realized we could also do some exploring on land and include safaris in one trip, we decided on Tanzania". We had the trip of a lifetime! Thank you for your help organizing, we loved each and every place we stayed, including the camp ground in Ngorongoro crater that we were hesitant about. All of our accommodations were comfortable, extremely clean, well run, and had incredible food. We would recommend this same trip and itinerary to all of our friends and family. Thank you for making traveling somewhere so foreign to us so easy.

Itinerary

Day 1: The Adventure Begins

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 07:35. VIP Meet and Greet. Transfer to the Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Private transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive through the park and continue to the lodge. In the afternoon, explore the Treetop Walkway and Masai Guided Experience. Return to Sanctuary for sundowners and dinner.

Day 3: Ngrongoro Crater

Private transfer into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Explore the beauty of this region on the Ngorongoro Crater Descent Walk, and then head out on a run with local Maasai guides. Stop for a private lunch on crater floor, and then head out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Private transfer from Ngorongoro to Manyara airstrip. Catch Shared Light Air Flight from Manyara to Serengeti (Kogatende). Transfer to Nimali Mara. Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Return to the lodge for sundowners.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Full day safari in the Serengeti National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Full day safari in the Serengeti National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Full day safari in the Serengeti National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 8: Zanzibar

Transfer from Nimali to Kogatende airstrip. Shared Light Air Flight from Kogatende to Zanzibar. Transfer to Tulia Zanzibar, one of Zanzibar’s best honeymoon resorts. Afternoon at leisure, optional activities available around the lodge (can be booked locally).

Day 9: Zanzibar

A full day at leisure on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 10: Zanzibar

A full day at leisure on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 11: Return Home

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to connect with international flight home.
