Itinerary

Day 1: The Adventure Begins!
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you your hotel. Here you can rest up after your international flight and and meet your guides who will talk you through the plan for the adventure to come.
Depending on your international flight arrival time, you could head straight to the Selous on arrival. Alternatively, there are some wonderful local activities around Dar if you want to take the day to explore.
Overnight at Serena Hotel Dar es Salaam.
Days 2-4: Nyerere National Park
The next morning, begin your journey through southern Tanzania as you board a light aircraft flight and fly deep into the Nyerere National Park (previously the Selous Game Reserve). You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your camp, game driving en route.
Spend the next few days on safari in the Nyerere National Park, with 3 nights at beautiful Siwandu Camp.
Overnight at Siwandu Camp.
Days 5-7: Ruaha National Park
Next, jump back in the jeep and transfer to the airstrip to connect with your light aircraft flight to Ruaha National Park.
You will be met at the airstrip in Ruaha and transferred to your camp where you will spend the next 3 nights on safari in one of Tanzania's most breath-taking wilderness areas.
Overnight at Jongomero Camp.
Day 8-10: Fanjove Island
After a final breakfast overlooking the savannah, transfer to the airstrip to connect with a light air flight to Fanjove Island. Spend the next 2 nights on this tropical paradise.
Overnight at Fanjove Private Island.
Day 10: Return Home
As you adventure comes to an end, transfer to the airport to connect with your international flight home.

Prices are per person based on two people travelling together.

Prices are likely to increase by at least 10% for the 2024 season. Rates are confirmed mid-way through the year. Book now and we will not charge you more than this 10% increase. If the price is eventually confirmed as lower than a 10% increase, we will charge you this lower rate.
