What we love about Sand Rivers Selous

It's small and intimate: With only 8 rooms available, the staff can ensure that every guest has a completely unique stay, surprising you with sundowners or a romantic dinner under the stars. Having fewer guests also means that there is no rigid schedule, and the adventures can unfold naturally.

Diverse landscapes: Not only do you have stunning views of the running river from your room, but you can explore a plethora of surrounding terrains on safari. From lakes to thickets to plains to gorges, the area offers something new for you to explore each day.

An action-packed getaway: Sand Rivers Selous includes game drives, walking safaris, and boat trips all included in their rates. If that isn't enough, they also offer excursions to Steigler's Gorge, swimming at the nearby hot springs, and a fly camping experience.
