What we love about Olakira Migration Camp
It offers a dining experience like no other - After starting off your day with a continental and full English breakfast, finish it with a three-course meal in the Serengeti bush underneath the spectacular starry skies.
Its got incredible views - Sitting in the comfort of an armchair in the dining tent, take in the sprawling views of the Serengeti and Ndutu regions before you, watching the zebras as they pass by.
The view from above - The camp offers the incredible experience of seeing Serengeti from an exclusive vantage point - the sky. Float above in a hot air balloon and watch the wildebeest beneath you.
There are nine luxury tents available at Olakira Migration Camp, including one family tent.
Extra amenities include:
- A star-gazing tent design
- En-suite bathrooms in each tent and hot water safari bucket showers
- Flushing toilets

- Hot air balloon safaris for a brand new point of view of the Serengeti

When to Visit
Olakira Camp follows the wildebeest herds through the Serengeti, which ensures you’ll see the Great Migration at any time of year.
The camp is closed in April and May and the latter half of November.
July and August are the busiest months in the Serengeti when there will be many other travellers on safari. We recommend travelling in September to avoid these crowds.
