Northern Circuit Luxury Honeymoon

Day 1: The Adventure Begins

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the lovely Katambuga House. This is a great base to relax after your international flight and get prepared for the adventure to come. 

Day 2 - 3

The next morning, begin your journey through northern Tanzania as you game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, or visit the Mto Wa Mbu village before continuing towards the incredible Gibbs Farm. This luxury lodge is set in the Karatu region just outside the Ngorongoro Crater, and provides a fantastic base for exploring the crater. If you had a bit of budget flex and wanted to stay within the crater itself, there are some fantastic options we can recommend on the crater rim overlooking the caldera. 

You then have a full day out on safari in the Ngorongoro Crater. What once was a fiery, lava strewn, inhospitable area is now home to 25,000 large animals, including lion, black rhino, elephant, and giraffes. 

Day 4 - 6

Next, jump in a light aircraft and fly to the northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park (there are some incredible views on this flight!). Touch down at the airstrip and game drive through the park towards the absolutely stunning Nimali Mara. If you're travelling in July - September, you'll be in prime position to witness the migration activity and with a bit of luck see a river crossing! If you're travelling outside of those months, speak to our team and we can recommend the right camps and locations for you.  

Spend the next 3 nights at Nimali Mara in their Honeymoon/Family suites. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives, returning to the lodge for sundowners overlooking the savannah. 

Day 7-10

Finally, jump back into a light aircraft and head east to the beautiful Zanzibar archipelago. Spend the next 4 nights at the beautiful Tulia Zanzibar, an absolute winner amongst honeymooners, couples or those looking for exclusivity and luxury in Zanzibar. It's on an all-inclusive basis, so all drinks and meals are included, and the staff at Tulia always go the extra mile to look after honeymooners.
