What we love about Kimondo Migration Camp

Its got incredible sweeping views - Sit in the comfort of your private tent with a gin and tonic and take in the sprawling views of the Serengeti before you, watching the zebras as they graze and pass by.

It's a traditional camping experience - Inspired by the camping style of the 1920s, the camp is comprised of traditional canvas tents and Moroccan style furnishings.

Dine in style - All food and baked goods are freshly prepared at camp, with the option of having a picnic taken out to the bush or to the perfect spot under the stars.

The tents have spacious en-suite bathrooms with an outdoor bucket shower, a flushing toilet, and hot water.

Enjoy the evening with your tipple of choice on your private veranda looking out over the bush.

When to Visit

Kimondo Camp follows the wildebeest herds through the Serengeti, meaning the Great Migration can be spotted at any time of year.

July and August are the busiest months, so we recommend travelling in January, February, September and October.

The camp is closed from mid-March through mid-June and during the month of November.
